Review

Bullock and Pullman will bewitch many a heart in this beguiling romantic comedy, essentially a Cinderella tale except for the fact that it's Prince Charming who's asleep. Bullock is a lonely transit worker who saves the life of the handsome businessman (Gallagher) whom she admires from afar. As he lies in a coma, she is mistakenly identified as his fiancée, and then welcomed with open arms into his rather daffy family. All except Gallagher's brother, played with elfin charm by Pullman. Of course, they inevitably -- but most endearingly -- fall in love. Sure its a slight premise, but a most engaging cast, real chemistry between the two leads and a lively screenplay make this all-the-more entertaining. Bullock is simply enchanting.
