Fourteen-year-old Hayley Stark (Ellen Page), more sophisticated than her innocent demeanor would suggest, agrees to meet Jeff Kohlver (Patrick Wilson), who has been working his charm on her via online chats. His feature film debut is most impressive for his skillful handling of the superbly confrontational and manipulative script.
