REVIEW
After his daring performance in Barfly, Rourke goes even further over the edge with a highly unusual portrayal of an illiterate, mono-syllabic boxer competing one last time for the title. Walken plays his unsavory manager. A downbeat but curiously appealing boxing drama which unfortunately gives in to many clichés of the genre.
