Hannah Takes the Stairs

SKINOPSIS

Joe Swanberg is one of the main dudes behind "mumblecore," a movie genre that involves a bunch of hipsters hanging around, shooting the shit and sometimes having sex. He recruited three other mumblecore icons to play the male leads in this film, but fuck them... this film is dangerously close to the first 30 minutes of Cloverfield, only without the monster coming in and kicking all their asses.

The real star here is Greta Gerwig, a dangerously cute hipsterette who bounces through the three relationships like, well, like a hipster in Whole Foods sampling the free cheeses. Happily, we do get to sample her goods several times (Gen-Y girls are easy), including the climactic shot of her playing a trumpet with her boyfriend in a bathtub, both fully nude.
