SKINOPSIS

If you like seeing a pouty, nameless and wonderfully trashy - yet oddly-alluring (and oh-so sexable) - European chicks in various stages of undress (or dressed with wads of Euros stuffed in their drawers like an Amsterdam stripper who forgot to strip). Presented in black & white if for no other reason than to quiet any assertions that it is anything but art (and as a reminder that the story is set in the past ...or something) - then have we got a movie for you!

Beautiful yet a bit odd looking, Isild Le Besco is like the girl next door - if the girl next door was a youngish, oft-naked French sexpot. She's been compared to Scarlet Johansen sans the timidity for on-screen nudity. But, while Scarlet may outshine her in the classic beauty department, Besco has an awkward charm that is attainable and a slutty innocence that hints at all the dirty things she would do to you and the toast she would burn for you the next morning.

Here she plays a 19-year old Parisian art student living in the mid-70's who falls for (and bangs the holy hell out of) a mysterious Morroccan who turns out to be - as luck would have it - a bank robber. After a botched robbery ends in a murder, Lili (her name, yet never actually uttered throughout the film) hides him and his partner and, joined by the partner's girlfriend, she eventually runs away with them.

The (black & white) nudity is casual and frequent especially when it comes to Ms. Besco (don't get too comfortable, that gawd damn Morrocan appears undressed a couples times as well) and the sex is fantastically ... that is, artfully 'French-ified' in it's frankness. The film ends on a decidedly dirty note as Besco's Lili gets her freak on with a lesbian and then two men in a sausage sammich of a 'menage a trois.'
