SKINOPSISBeing a submissive whore is a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it and Miho Nikaido may not always look happy doing it, but she always looks hot. Whether she's pissing in a bucket or crawling around topless with a vibrator shoved up her ass or crying while a dominating dyke gives her a crotch massage, she's always one smokin' slab of tasty teriyaki. Banned in several countries. -- Rick Stanko

REVIEW
This controversial, fiercely original and visually shocking portrait of a young Japanese call girl's quest for ecstasy is adapted from director Murakami's novel "Topaz." Plunging headfirst into the steamy world of S&M, drugs and depravity, the story revolves around Ai, who as the film opens seeks beatitude through the advice of a fortune teller. While the film bathes the viewer in a sea of heroin abuse, cocaine snorting, floggings and humiliations, these uncomfortable images are necessary to show how the successful and powerful businessmen clients seek these bizarre pleasures to further quench their thirst for power. A darkly powerful film that's clearly not for all tastes, but a challenging experience for open-minded viewers. (Japanese with English subtitles)
