SKINOPSIS

Monica van Campen seems to be in this movie only because she was the only chick they could find to do repeated scenes of gratuitous nudity and boy are they gratuitous. But, that's the way we like it. See gratuitousness guarantees a good look. We also like the way that it starts out kind of slow with see-through tops and builds to pure bare boobs. The highlight might be when she fucks a guy for no reason and slits his throat in the process again for no reason. The movie aspires to be laughably bad, but it isn't quite there.

3 REASONS TO BUY THIS FILM

  • It's almost laughably bad.
  • It really depends on how intoxicated you are.
  • But tired and stoned, it just might be perfect. Anyway, at least there's gratuitous nudity.
REVIEW
A horrible adaptation of the pretty cool graphic novel. When the protagonist's girlfriend is murdered, he sells his soul to the Devil to get revenge. But, bummer for him, the Devil wants him to keep killing enemies of evil so he may accomplish some muddy goal of his. The two leads give turgid performances, and even cult fave Combs is subpar here, despite sporting some nifty rockabilly sideburns. The story and dialogue are guffaw-inducing, the effects wouldn't pass muster on a website for a local diner, and the whole thing is really unpleasant when it's not laughable. A crappy Crow/Spawn ripoff.
