Larry Clark's (Kids) throwback to '50s explotation has a group of post-apocalyptic cave-dwelling teens who reject authority, indulge in sex and drugs, and eventually face a terrifying monster. It's really just an excuse to ogle a handful of topless perfect youths.
REVIEW Or, Kids goes sci-fi. The increasingly sleazy Clark has fashioned a truly lame story as an excuse to (yet again) ogle a group of naked young teens. In the post-apocalyptic future, kids are still doing nasty drugs and having lots of sex and talking like lumberjacks and beating each other up. Yawn. This is (aside from the aforementioned ogling factor, if that's your bag) absolutely pointless, and, since there's really no story, utterly dull. Badly shot, Teenage Caveman has tacky dialogue and unconvincing performances to boot. Easily the worst of the Creature Features series.
