Threesome

This often perceptive and funny story revolves around the friendship and evolving sexual relations between three college students sharing the same dorm. Baldwin is Stuart, a droopy-eyed, sex-obsessed jock. Eddy (Charles) is the "sexually ambivalent" (read: gay) narrator/roommate, and Alex (Boyle) is the sexually aggressive woman mistakenly assigned to their room. Complications arise when lust rears its ugly head: Alex has the hots for Eddy who has his eyes on the well-formed butt of Stuart, who wants to jump the bones of the disinterested Alex. Sure it's "high concept," but what saves the film from being tiresome and predictable (no surprises, though) is a witty script. Though the film should have done more with Eddy's non-threatening gay virgin.
