SKINOPSISJulie Andrews shows her hills are still alive when she boldly whips out her finely-aged rack and lets it linger for all to see. Everyone on-screen bursts into applause which is the only logical response to seeing Mary Poppins' tits. Edwards' brilliant, scathing indictment of Hollywood and the men and women behind and in front of the cameras. Holden gives a sterling performance as a jaded director with a predilection for teenaged girls. Preston is exceptional as a wise-cracking doc, Andrews as a superstar who bares all, and Mulligan is Edwards' alter ego who discovers exactly what it takes to make a hit. One of the most underrated and misunderstood films of its decade.
