SKINOPSISA fact-based crime drama about a white-trash couple who turn to crime to solve their financial and marital woes. The amazingly gorgeous Ashley Judd has a wild sex scene and several nude moments as the female half of the duo.
REVIEW
A fact-based crime drama about a white-trash couple who turn to crime to solve their financial and marital woes. Perry's surprisingly persuasive performance and Judd's dead-on, energetic portrayal go a long way toward making these unappealing characters sympathetic. The screenplay is less successful, offering spotty characterizations and obvious satire. Though not as effectively disturbing as the director's Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, Normal Life does display MacNaughton's deft touch with uncomfortable scenes of rage and violence.
