A macabre suspense story about the strange happenings in a Riviera villa operated by two American cousins (Fonda, Albright). The women's offer of refuge to the on-the-run Delon seals his fate and slowly turns this "safe house" into an oppressive prison. An interesting, but minor, Clément work. (French with English subtitles)
