SKINOPSIS

Ok so the dude wasn't much of a songwriter, but he certainly got ladies to show him their boobs! Meg Ryan lets out her starbooby while laying in bed with the Lizard King and Kathleen Quinlan shows it all while Mr. Mojo Risin plows her poon. Some randy chick flashes her 'zoobs at him in the elevator. Damn, it just goes to show how dropping acid and letting whatever garbagey bullshit that comes out become your "songs" can get you far.

3 REASONS TO BUY THIS FILM

  • Directed by Oliver Stone. So, The Doors killed JFK?
  • Meg Ryan reveals half of her topless frame.
  • It will totally clear up that whole naked Indian gag in Wayne's World 2.
REVIEW
A daring, provocative and hallucinogenic tribute, ostensibly a biography but much more, of the founding member of the 1960s rock group The Doors -- Jim Morrison. Director Stone sees Morrison as a lost poet of his generation, which he probably was, and the film never condescends to either the era (which is difficult to recapture on film, but Stone has done so amazingly) or Morrison himself. Kilmer is an uncanny look-alike of the singer, but his portrayal goes far beyond simple impersonation; Kilmer embodies the passion and the firebrand of the pop star which was Jim Morrison. The live performances are particularly impressive, featuring most of the group's classic material.
