In Houston, Texas, 1962, a young underpaid medical resident in the plastic surgery unit, Kevin Saunders (Schwimmer), is bored with facial reconstruction. He's looking to make it big, but little does he realize how big "big" is going to be. Saunders takes the concept of "breast augmentation" to his senior surgeon William Larson (Chris Cooper) and together they embark on a partnership that will change the shape of America. From the hip 60's to the happening 70's and into the excessive 80's, Larson and Saunders watch their business, their bank accounts and their clients grow. But a rift in the scenario -- and a rapidly spreading silicone scare -- threatens to destroy their reputation and their business. Is bigger better? Or will their business be a bust? For two doctors in Texas, the answer is in their hands.
