SKINOPSIS

Somewhere between hardcore pornography and international arthouse cinema lies All About Anna. It's erotica made "by women, for women," but men will certainly also get a thrill over both the hardcore sex scenes and the beautiful women. Anna tries to maintain her sexual and personal independence, but the reemergence of an old boyfriend who she never really got over complicates things. The hardcore sex scenes are infrequent and not the usual mechanical pumping and thrusting that we've come to expect. Shot on location throughout Copenhagen and Paris, this film focuses more on character development than it does on eroticism, but doesn't slight the latter either. Gry Bay, generally a non-hardcore actress in Denmark, has her first real penetration scene as Anna.
