Heart of the Stag

Heart of the Stag is set on a beautiful isolated sheep ranch in New Zealand. The rancher (Terrence Cooper) is a burly, compulsive hunter of native stags. He hires on a mysterious stranger (Bruno Lawrence) as a farm-hand who soon discovers the incestuous relationship Cooper has been having for years with his daughter (Mary Regan). The drama ensues toward a passionate and brutal resolution as the terrible secret is unveiled.
