Holly (Melissa Joan Hart) and Calvin (Ryan Browning) are a young couple from Iowa who move to New York to become actors. They stay with Holly's Aunt Agatha in a beautiful -- and rent-controlled -- apartment in Central Park West while they're looking for an apartment of their own. Unfortunately, Aunt Agatha is a little eccentric -- equally devoted to her 15 cats and to popping diet pills. When Aunt Agatha dies before the couple has found a cheap apartment, they decide to cover up her demise so they can have the apartment all to themselves.
