FROM THE LINER NOTES

Young, charismatic heart surgeon Dorian Shanley (Kirk Harris, Loser) has an insatiable appetite for booze, drugs and one-night stands. Though brilliant in the operating room and acknowledged by Chief of Surgery Dr. Preminger (Joanne Baron, Spider-man 2), he violates the ethics of his profession by stealing pharmaceuticals with which he barters for cocaine from his friend and dealer Teddy (Eric Roberts, Runaway Train). Further fueling his disintegration is the ongoing loss of his father, William (John Savage, Carnivale), a former prizefighter, to Alzheimer's. Once he falls in love with his girlfriend's grieving college pal, Anna (Camilla Overbye Roos, Titanic), his life only becomes more chaotic. As he travels through a maze of binges into the heart of addiction, Dorian ultimately recognizes that his survival demands new life choices.

Eric Roberts, John Savage and Kirk Harris deliver stunning performances in this startlingly realistic portrayal of drug addition and abuse. A must-see film in the vein of Leaving Las Vegas, City by the Sea and 21 Grams.

Featuring music by Coolio, Sen Dog of Cypress Hill, Mopreme Shakur, Azam Ali, MC Eiht, Techniec, Neb Luv and Medussa.
