Eternal

Eternal is a weak entry into the erotic vampire genre that places more emphasis on its lush sets and pretty photography than on the essential elements of sex and horror. Based on the story of Erzsebet Bathory, the 16th Century Hungarian Countess who bathed in the blood of young women in order to keep from aging, this Canadian production fails to deliver much in the ways of plot or thrills. The nudity while present is spare, at least for this type of film, and the sex scenes are horribly dull. The film does contain some very lovely imagery, lavish scenery and the women who do show skin (especially Caroline Neron) are quite attractive.
