Stealth (Jessica Biel)

Biel, Lucas and Foxx play a team of test pilots who try out top-secret stealth planes. Their perfectly honed teamwork is thrown out of whack by the addition of a fourth team member -- an unmanned, computer-piloted prototype. Things go really hay wire when the plane gains a mind of its own after being struck by lightning (!), then decides to bomb a laundry list of populous areas around the world, ensuring global disaster. Now it's up to the three humans to stop him. Slipshod and pandering (the robot plane plays lousy downloaded music on its missions; please), Stealth is ludicrously episodic in its second half, with one major cast member killed off, another kidnapped and tortured, and the main thrust of the plot -- the robot plane's destructive plan -- dropped completely. Biel and Lucas make for an extremely attractive, would-be couple (their tentative romance is more involving than the main storyline), but this is a choppy, silly waste of time. Shockingly, the subpar script was written by W. D. Richter, writer-director of cult favorite Buckaroo Banzai.
