SKINOPSIS

We apologize. Usually, we don't bother to talk about movies with no nudity, but we're making an exception here. It's just that we have a serious Veronica Mars fetish and we also have a thing for spanking. That's just us, and there's nothing we, or anyone else for that matter, can do about it. Since Kristen Bell (who is, in case you don't know Veronica Mars) has never appeared nude (and we don't fucking count that bullshit "nip-slip" in Spartan,) this is the best we've got. She rocks out alternating between foxy fetish gear and a pink bra and spanks this doofy guy. We just had to tell you. If that doesn't interest you, then move on, but, for us, this is as good as it's gonna get 'til she does a real nude scene. Plus, we really like weed.
REVIEW
With Jesus in a loincloth, Kristen Bell ("Veronica Mars") in leather and fishnets and Christian Campbell (trick) dancing nearly naked with the devil, Reefer Madness is the kind of musical we love! Tons of laughs from beginning to end, Reefer Madness ran on Broadway for 8 seasons and was based on the 1936 exploitation film of the same name. Jimmy Harper (Christian Campbell) is an All-American high school student. He wears a varsity letter sweatshirt and dates his sweetheart Mary Lane (Bell) each weekend. That all changes when he is lured to Jack Stone's (Weber) den of iniquity where potheads loll about smoking dope and having wild orgies. After the first toke, Jimmy is hooked and his life goes downhill real fast. There's a death, a fire, an appearance by Satan, and a burning baby. Fantasy sequences take us into the mind of wild sex-crazed potheads.

With its small-scale musical numbers and deeply sarcastic tone, Reefer Madness wasn't made for the masses and that's a good thing. We love quirky and this film defines that word. Christian Campbell looks fantastic, he hasn't aged a day since trick and he's beautifully buff. Ana Gasteyer ("Saturday Night Live") is superb as Jack's girl Mae and the whole cast is outstanding. We can't finish this review off without mentioning that Alan Cumming makes a perfect host for the evening. It's a role fit for a very droll Mr. Cumming. If there is one fault, we'd have to say the film runs a tad too long, but that certainly doesn't hurt the film. Highly recommended for an evening or many evenings of laughs, take another toke and sit back and enjoy.
