Nowhere Man

Any ordinary guy would agree that any movie that conjures up the unfortunate circumstances of the real life castration of John Wayne Bobbit could never, ever, ever be even remotely funny. Then again, one that draws on the adult film industry, a bad (bad meaning bad - not bad meaning good) wannabe rapper/ porn star with a 13 inch dick named Daddy Mac (played to some comic effect by real-life porn star Frank Olivier), and a man desperately trying to recover his severed penis from his scorned wife (Debbie Rochon) would seam an ideal black comedy. Unfortunately, no one involved in this movie thought so. There are brief moments of absurd humor, but apart from that, the film is played as some kind of twisted psychological drama about a prick who loses his prick and acts like a bigger prick in the process of hunting the missing prick down. This is an insecure jerk of a man who raped his wife because once upon a time, before they met, she got banged in a video (a segment of which is repeatedly shown ad nauseam) and somehow the audience is supposed to feel sympathy for him because he's pissing through a tube. This woe-is-me-and-my-nub theme continues right down to the climatic showdown between Daddy Mac, our dickless protagonist, his wife and his shriveled member…a showdown that ends in a truly nasty blaze of glory.
