A provocative look at how society copes with grief when, one morning, the citizens of a small French city wake up to discover thousands of recently dead people walking into town. While they are not the typical flesh-eating creatures of countless zombie tales, these relatively normal looking undead are much slower in mind and body than the living. While flickers of the people they once were remain - death has changed them.
