A Midsummer Night's Rave

Beginning with William Shakespeare's comedy and adding five centuries of debauchery, Gil Cates, Jr. Canadian film tells a tale of love potion, pretty boys and new romance. Set at an outdoor rave, this is a basic one-set film that's all about appearances. Puck is a gay drug dealer who is given a special green glowing drug that causes people to fall in love. He sells that along with a medicine chest full of pharmaceuticals to party-goers in this story-less, but fun tale. Andrew Keegan (the "newbie" from Broken Hearts Club) stars as a straight boy in love with the wrong woman. Most of the other boys seem gay and as the party progresses new alliances are made.

Don't buy this one for the story, there really isn't one. It's got a constant score of nice techno music -- and lots of pretty boys. Don't expect revelations from this little trifle, just some fun.
