Houston Blackett (MacFadyen) is the charming owner of a "Maxim" like magazine and a sexist womanizer who can and does have whoever he chooses in his bedroom. He's an arrogant and sexist womanizer who constantly lies to all of his "girlfriends". After hearing of his estranged mother's death and returning home, he soon discovers that the power of attorney for his mom's estate is assigned to her lesbian lover Zane (Miller). Zane is also his ex-girlfriend from years past. With the help of his stepmother Claire (Ann-Margret) Houston comes to terms with his misogyny and reforms himself.
