REVIEW
This magical gay romantic comedy hails from Russia, the first gay-positive movie to come from the formerly repressed country. The center of our love triangle is Tim, an oddly cute guy who develops advertising for major corporations, has a stressful job and no love in his life. When he meets Vera, a TV news reader in a cafeteria, their attraction is immediate and intense. Vera is always at Tim's apartment and they have plenty of fun in bed. Everything changes when the mysterious and very cute Iloomyi, a young Mongolian guy falls on Tim's car. Iloomyi doesn't have a place to live -- he's escaped from his parent's home and sleeps in the zoo now. This young charismatic guy has a bizarre sense of fun and Tim is quickly enchanted. Their friendship extends into the bedroom almost as quickly as Tim and Vera's did. When Vera discovers the two men in bed together, she joins in. No use fighting the boys here! Combining a wacky sense of humor with a sometimes magical use of props and scenery, those of us unused to the whimsical fancies of Russian filmmaking may take to this queer comedy easily. With You I Love it’s time to open your hearts, just as Vera does to the possibilities...
