Charlotte Sometimes

A handsome, intelligent, but withdrawn young man secretly yearns for his sexy tenant, who lives next door. On an almost nightly basis, he listens to her and her boyfriend have raucous sex, then dutifully lets her in to hang out platonically with him when her boyfriend goes to sleep. This frustrating routine is broken when he begins a relationship with a beautiful and alluring stranger, but his friendship with his tenant may be destroyed because of it. Charlotte Sometimes is a good, realistic, satisfying drama, filled with a lot of truths, many telling details and excellent performances by everyone. A bit pat at times, a little too vague at others, Charlotte is mostly an affecting, warm but levelheaded and believable slice of life.
