Better than Sex

Sexy and clever, Better Than Sex attempts to get to the heart of what sex means in many relationships. Josh (Wenham) and Cin (Porter) meet at a party and inevitably he ends up back at her place. They have passionate sex, but the feelings of connection grow stronger as their one nighter extends to a three day affair. It's filled with lots of Woody Allenesque analysis about what people want in relationships, but replaces truly probing philosophy with probing sex and style. Does it always work? No, but the film is still something to be appreciated for exploring the subject in a more than completely neutral way. And it has the benefit of starring two winning actors who make the three-day journey a fun one.
