Extreme Ops

Aiming for the same audience who made XXX such a huge hit, the makers of Extreme Ops actually succeed in making that film look like Gunga Din by comparison. While the trailers suggest the same sort of scenario — extreme sports stars become action heroes — it is in fact just an incredibly bad comedy, focusing on the wacky hijinks of these unappealing whelps as they (or rather, a combination of stunt doubles and lousy CGI effects) make spectacles of themselves. There's no real action to speak of until the last ten minutes, culminating in the shoddiest-looking avalanche in eons. You'd find more tension and sense of danger in Snow Day.
