REVIEW A Fast and the Furious rip-off, Biker Boyz is really nothing more than an Afterschool Special dressed in trendy clothing. "The Kid" (Luke) wants to be the best street racer in California; he's got to beat his mentor, Smoke (Fishburne), the reigning king, first — and learn some trite life lessons along the way. Truly awful camerawork, ineffectual editing and a distinct lack of drama peg Biker Boyz as an empty knockoff early on. Pandering, street-lingo-littered dialogue and a lousy soundtrack also kill interest, but the straw that breaks this back is the fact that the races are so dull! Fishburne and Luke give more than the film deserves, but no amount of trying can save this dismissible junk.
