REVIEW Two white-trash couples decide to drive to Reno for vacation, primarily to see a kick-ass monster truck show. En route, they discover and reveal some secrets about one another along the way. That alone should tip you off that this ain't gonna be a subtle, insightful satire. What is somewhat surprising is that this cast would agree to be in such a one-note, unfunny and truly stale marriage-on-the-rocks, sub-sitcom dud. While Swayze has one or two charming moments, and Thornton is always worth a look, the only one to emerge unscathed is Richardson, who brings a down-home sexiness and sweetness the rest of the film lacks. Unless you roar with laughter at the very mention of Jerry Springer, you'll find Reno a long haul.
