Hollywood should take note: Though they're small in stature, they're large in numbers and will show no mercy in their wrath. Who? Kids, of course. And they, like adults, will only put up with so much crap. Like this moronic "family" comedy that wants to attract the pre-adolescent crowd but is full of sexual innuendo, violent pranks and stupid jokes to cause seven year olds to roll their eyes. O'Connell plays a mob underling who -- with best friend Andersen in tow -- heads Down Under to deliver a $50,000 payoff. When the titular marsupial runs off with the money, the dunderheaded duo are off in hot pursuit. Would it help alleviate the pain of bad writing, terrible direction and uninspired acting to have the kangaroo talk? It only adds to the misery of it all.
