REVIEW
Legion of the Dead is a misguided, inept gore comedy from director Ittenbach (who became so incensed at a recent film festival audience's derisive comments about this film, he uttered one final expletive and stormed offstage). While the film aims for the heights of a ReAnimator or Dead/Alive, it falls waaaay short of those classics, and the rampant gore and extreme violence end up being painfully monotonous, unfunny, unscary and certainly not entertaining. Over-the-top, "wacky" characters (the evil, undead hit-men brothers are particularly annoying) only add to the torture. Even with a group of rowdy friends and some mind-altering substances, Legion just plain stinks. You Might Also Like
