The Tuxedo

Playing his typical "Who, me?" Everyman character caught in incredible circumstances, Chan is his usual charming self. Unfortunately, his schlub cabbie character is paired with the decidedly charmless Love Hewitt. The two must stop a nefarious (and truly clichéd) Eurovillain from cornering the market on the world's water supply. The clueless Chan gets a boost from a high-tech tuxedo, which enables him to climb walls, sing and dance like James Brown, and fight like, well, Jackie Chan. Some occasional sparkle from Chan's fight scenes and Isaacs' witty James Bond riff can't really begin to compensate for the ludicrous screenplay and uninspired direction — not to mention the quality vacuum that is Love Hewitt. This may be enjoyed by small children and fans of Inspector Gadget — all others (even diehard Chan fans), however, have been warned.
