Hellraiser: Hellseeker

Hellraiser: Hellseeker, the sixth film in the series, is just plain inexcusable. No one's expectations could have possibly been high after the dreadful fourth and fifth chapters, but this film is beyond comprehension. The talented Winters (of HBO's "Oz") is wasted as a widower having nightmarish visions after his wife (Laurence, reprising her role of Kirsty from the first two Hellraisers) apparently died in a car crash. He has these (unscary, unimaginative, pointless) visions for nearly the entire running time, until the silly surprise ending, which is a nasty slap in the face for fans of the first two films (which remain the only quality entries in the series). Hellseeker features maybe five minutes of Pinhead (no offense to Bradley, but Pinhead's gotten chunky — do they have nachos in Hell?), and is really just a low-rent erotic thriller, sans eroticism, thrills and Cenobites.
