REVIEW
Cube plays a bounty hunter who teams with small-time thief Epps to find a $60 million winning lottery ticket Epps lost while running from both Cube and some big-time diamond smugglers. Totally charmless, All about the Benjamins steals the premise of Uptown Saturday Night, and drains all the fun and humor (alas, Cube and Epps are certainly no Cosby and Poitier, and the pseudo-tough Eurovillain here can't hold a candle to Harry Belafonte's hysterical Godfather impression). The two "heroes" are absolute jerks, to boot; there's a torture-the-bad-guy's-henchman scene at the midway point that is supremely ugly, and the title is accurate — these greedy jackasses really only care about money. Aren't we supposed to hate the villains in this kind of action/comedy? A low point for the usually reliable Cube.
