Life without Dick

A neo-Elvis movie with Connick in the King's spot as a hapless would-be hit man who aspires to a life as an Irish balladeer. The female foil, phoned in by Parker, is a flaky painter-type with a crack shot, who mistakenly offs her boorish beau, a private dick played by "Jackass" Knoxville. Life gets wacky for both of them when they meet, fall in love, and liberally crack wise with thousands of tired "dick" jokes. It turns out Connick has somehow committed to five contract killings with an Irish mob kingpin, and -- inept as a murderer -- has Parker finish his dirty work. A surefire laugh riot for the sensibility-impaired.
