REVIEW
A dull, young film editor decides to deliver a swank car cross-country for some extra cash, only to be besieged by vampires along the way. This big yawn of a horror flick walks and talks like a bloodier-than-usual USA Network movie (despite a surprisingly frank opening credits image), yet this junk somehow got a major theatrical release. Boring, slow, derivative and mean without being remotely scary, The Forsaken also features a truly lame villain (this guy's supposed to be a 1,000-year-old knight?!) who's about as menacing as Aaron Carter. If watching a couple of twentysomething dorks drive around the desert for 90 minutes spouting annoying, trendy dialogue while looking for even more annoying, trendy vampires is your idea of a great time, look no further.
