REVIEW
There's not much nice with Sugar & Spice, a brainless satire about a cheerleading squad that robs a bank. Shelton, playing the pregnant squad captain who initiates the robbery idea, makes for a blank lead, and the rest of the cast seem similarly ill-at-ease. Even at a scant 81 minutes, Sugar & Spice feels interminable, with not one laugh, not one smile, in its running time. Embarrassing pop-culture references, strident non-characters, and a deadening pointlessness make this one of the year's worst. Check out Bring It On for a witty, clever cheerleading satire.
