REVIEW
Of all the satanic films (Bless the Child, Lost Souls, etc) released in 2000, none is more horrifying than the dumbfoundingly bad comedy Little Nicky. Sandler, who last appeared in the terrible Waterboy and Big Daddy, sinks to a new low even by his "standards." The posterboy for pubescent silliness plays Nicky, the Devil's dimwitted youngest son, who must venture to Earth to retrieve his two brothers causing havoc throughout New York City. Armed with a bad lisp and awful jokes, Nicky sets out to capture his siblings and falls in love with a mortal in the process. There could have been a mediocre movie somewhere in all this, but the screenplay by Sandler, Tim Herlihy and director Brill ruins every single comedic possibility, making this comedy abortion truly one of the worst film comedies of all time. Unfunny beyond belief.
