It's 2056 and Earth lays devastated by pollution. A group of space-traveling scientists head off to Mars to determine if it's inhabitable. The stock characters are offset by an intriguing story, some good visuals and a few exciting scenes. Moss encores her tough-as-nails soldier from The Matrix to good effect, though the supporting characters aren't given much to do. About on par with 2000's other Mars epic, Mission to Mars.
