REVIEW
A lighthearted, occasionally funny remake of the 1967 Peter Cook-Dudley Moore classic comedy, with Fraser in good form as a clueless office nerd who sells his soul to the Devil (an attractive Hurley) for seven wishes. Assuming various disguises, Fraser is very appealing as the nebbishy Elliott, who -- foiled by Satan at every turn -- seems to never quite get what he wants. Though the script doesn't offer either Fraser or Hurley the kind of material for a knockout comedy, Fraser's several impersonations and a breezy tempo sustained by director Ramis make this genial rather than bedazzling.
