REVIEW
Brosnan appears for the third time as super agent James Bond in this technically proficient though overly familiar espionage adventure. 007 goes up against a less formidable opponent in Carlyle's mangy terrorist, whose plans to manipulate world oil comes under attack by Bond and physicist Richards (oh, come on!) when James investigates the death of a Swiss banker. Dench plays a larger role as M, and this marks Llewelyn's last appearance as gadget-man Q. A speedboat chase down the Thames and an exciting ride through an oil pipeline highlight the action scenes, though this is just a wee bit too talky to rate as one of the better Bonds.
