SKINOPSISIn case you were living under a rock or something when this came out, there's a classic scene of sexy Shannon Elizabeth (playing this exchange student chickie) stripping down to bra and panties, and then just to panties and checking out her amazing body before playing with herself. Of course, she's being watched by half the world over the internet, but the idiots we see watching her are with other dudes so they can't whack off. You, on the other hand, should watch alone so you can go to town on yourself the way Ms. Elizabeth does. -- Rick Stanko

Though it may forever be remembered for discovering new uses for apple pie, American Pie is a consistently funny, often raunchy teen comedy that manages to capture the essence of coming-of-age while offering a succession of hilariously rude sex jokes and familiar teen shenanigans. Four friends make a vow to lose their virginity by the Senior Prom. Each goes about the task in amusing sketches of seduction, impersonation, voyeurism and public relations as the final hour draws near. Director Weitz and writer Adam Herz delight in their naughty concoction, tweaking the noses of good taste and cliché with just the right balance of travesty, cleverness and hormonal longing. The story isn't always as cutting as it wants to be, but comparisons to There's Something about Mary are inevitable. And with scenes of pastry fornication, spunk beer (don't ask) and internet spying, it comes awful close. Klein makes the best impression as a jock who infiltrates enemy territory: the choir!
