Double Jeopardy

If you've seen the trailers, you've seen the movie. Framed for murdering her husband, a woman (Judd) serves seven years for the crime. When she discovers that he isn't dead, she breaks parole and goes hunting for him. Jones, who doesn't appear until a half-hour into the film, plays her embittered parole officer who chases her across the country. There's one especially good scene involving handcuffs, a car, a ferry and both Judd and Jones going overboard. But other than that, this thriller is standard issue, by-the-books and often implausible. The film's ending twist would have been mildly diverting had it not been given away in the coming attractions.
