SKINOPSIS

George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino are two homicidal brothers who stumble upon a bar called the Titty Twister. Unbeknownst to them, the place is crawling with vampires! Includes gorgeous Salma Hayek as an erotic snake-charming dancer.
REVIEW
The beleaguered horror genre receives a welcome shot -- this time in the neck -- from Hollywood's two wunderkind du jour, screenwriter Tarantino and director Rodriguez. It's easily the most entertaining horror/action/comedy since Evil Dead 2. Two homicidal brothers (Clooney, Tarantino) take a lapsed Baptist minister (Keitel) and his family hostage on their run to the Mexican border. Once across, the only thing that stands between them and freedom is one night in a rough-and-tumble biker/trucker bar called the Titty Twister. Unbeknownst to them, the bar is home to a horde of shape-shifting vampires (including gorgeous vampiress Hayek). Screenwriter Tarantino effortlessly combines the best elements of two genres -- the film begins as an escaped convicts-road movie and turns on a dime into the realm of zombie and vampire flick. Gory and very adult themed, From Dusk Till Dawn will leave its audience alternately gasping, screaming and laughing. (Sequel: From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money)
