SKINOPSISFiona is a bi-sexual, crack-smoking prostitute who plays by her own rules. She kills three cops with the same nonchalance with which she seduces in this raw and gritty character study featuring sleazy sex, lesbianism and real-life prostitutes.
REVIEW
Fiona plays by her own rules. Abandoned by her mother when she was a baby, she learned about life rather quickly. Whether she learned from her prostituting mother or her under-sexed stepfather, Fiona’s way of life is sex. Following her own rules she lives the life of a crack-smoking prostitute on the New York streets, and she doesn’t care. One of the only individuals Fiona cares about is fellow crack whore Pattie, but this isn’t a love story. Sharing tricks, drugs, and violence is their way of life. Fiona kills three cops with the same nonchalance with which she seduces and gets seduced, then seeks refuge in a neighborhood crack house. She befriends Anita, a local prostitute who is exhausted by life, but they soon shockingly realize that they are mother and daughter. Gritty and raw, this film blends drama and documentary footage shot in a Lower East Side crack house, with real prostitutes playing key roles.
