Three Dutch youths find themselves at the crossroads of adulthood in this arresting drama. Seeking to escape their working-class destinies, they dream of fame and fortune racing motorcycles, but are sidetracked by the fateful intervention of a scheming hash-slinger (the sultry Soutendijk). A penetrating slice-of-life which incorporates first love, youthful shenanigans, teen suicide, coming out and comaraderie. This, the uncut European version, has never been seen theatrically in the United States. (Dutch with English subtitles)
