REVIEW
This epic adventure is highlighted by remarkable action sequences and strongly developed characterizations, all set against the visual spectacle of Kubrick's discerning eye for locale and cinematic tone. Douglas stars in the title role as a rebel slave who leads the revolt against the Roman Republic. Featuring a cast of (literally) thousands! Music by Alex North.
