SKINOPSIS

REVIEW
Another surrealist treat from Greenaway. Two ex-Siamese twins are made widowers by an auto accident and team up with the car's driver, who lost her leg in the wreck, to explore the processes of death and decay. Always one to shock his viewers, Greenaway follows their examinations with all of the visual fecundity that has become the hallmark of his filmmaking, right down to time-lapse images of decaying corpses of animals. The lush cinematography of Sacha Vierny may be lost on the small screen.
